Bluetooth for your Mercedes Benz with the exchangeable cradle system (UHI)

The ViseeO MBU2 (was MBU2000) is superior to the Mercedes HFP cradle as it works with the iPhone/3G, and with the 2004 pre-facelift cars, and contacts can be transferred manually if your phone does not support download.

The software can also be upgraded to support new phones unlike the Mercedes solution.

This means that for phones that do not transfer the address book (such as Nokia N and E series phones) you can easily send contacts to the phone system, and thus still have the phone's phonebook available in your car. (We recommend sending in small groups, rather than sending the whole address book at once).

This works with all cars with the UHI connector, unlike the Mercedes Benz HFP cradle which echos in the older (around 2004) cars.


MB-2 has improved address book download chip, so will automatically transfer address book from phones with the MBU-2000 had to have manual transfer, this includes some of the newer Nokia phones with GPS and high resolution cameras, and many of the N and E series phones.

We recommend turning OFF the Bluetooth built into the W221 S and W216 CL classcars unit if using this product.

De MBU-1000 is speciaal ontworpen voor Mercedes Benz met het vooraf geïnstalleerde Nokia systeem (1999 ~ 2005) en is geschikt voor de Nokia 6150, 6210 en 6310/6310i telefoonhouder en ondersteunt de laatste Bluetooth™ 2.0 versie.

Voor de modellen van  (2005 ~ 2009) met UHI/MHI aansluiting is de MBU-2 ontworpen, bij beide systemen kunt tot 3 verschillende telefoons paren ongeacht het merk, daarbij wordt ook HSP, HFP, OPP ondersteunt.

Het systeem is volledig geïntegreerd met de stuurbediening en de radiofuncties.

Het geluid gaat via de speakers van de auto en dempt het radio geluid bij een inkomend of uitgaand telefoongesprek.
